Mount Valley Foundation Services (MVFS) is the oldest foundation repair company in South Carolina. Mount Valley Foundation Services was founded by Allan Gantt with the hope of bringing this necessary service to the area. In 2017, MVFS partnered with Groundworks, the nation’s leading and fastest growing foundation repair and water management solutions company and now serves under the Groundworks name. Mount Valley Foundation Services is a BBB accredited business with over 100 fully trained experts to assist the homeowner with any foundation repair, crawl space, or concrete needs.

William, Greg and Lewis worked on our house for 2 days. They installed 7 push piers the 1st day and 9 IntelliJacks the 2nd day. They did an excellent job with the installations. They back-filledthe holes, mortared the cracks and restored the landscaping so that it was almost impossible to tell any work was done. They were all very courteous, polite, professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them. I would have given 5 stars, but one minor problem occurred. A light fixture was broken in the crawl space which I was not told about and discovered it after they left. I reported it to the company and a supervisor offered to come out to replace it, but I had already gotten replacement parts for it. It would have been nice if they offered a credit to my account instead. I wish I could give them 4 and 1/2 stars, but I'm limited to 4.

We discovered that we had an issue with our sump pump. The pump was not removing the water from underneath our house. Mark Duncan came out and spent several hours cleaning out the pump and running fresh water through the system. Now the pump works great! He also cleaned up any mud and dirt that he tracked in underneath the house. I was very impressed with the finished job.

I spent a great deal of time researching crawlspace encapsulation, so I knew what to look for in regards to quality. These guys are incredible and did a very good job in every single area. I also got quotes from two other companies before I went with Mountain Valley, and in comparison, the materials Mountain Valley used and their techniques were superior. The crawlspace encapsulation looks amazing. The team was also very friendly and super kind. I highly recommend them.

It was so nice for a change to have a service provider arrive on time and provide exactly what I expected. Alex Myers and his crew; Cedric Kensley, Omar Cummings, Raeqwan-White Robinson, got right to work and did an outstanding job. Alex called to let me know when they were 30 mins out, greeted me, introduced himself and shook my hand. I was extremely impressed by his professionalism and the demeanor of his crew. I couldn’t be happier or more satisfied with their work. Plus, Alex took photos so I didn’t have to crawl under the house to inspect the results. My old house needs some love and I had concerns about my flooring. But after working with Elliot, my worries were put to rest. He arrived promptly and listened carefully. He was a great sport about shimmying into the crawl space where he immediately encountered a dead rat, which didn't faze him a bit. Thankfully it's only a subfloor issue. Elliot explained a couple of ways to go about fixing it. I will definitely be using Mount Valley Foundation to replace the subfloor when the time comes to move on this project. So thankful to be worry-free! A+++++++
