The customer service was great in the beginning when your company was trying to sell me a big contract but after they sold me the contract, installed the encapsulation and received payment the customer service is trash. I’ve called twice about questions pertaining to the thermostat and nobody has ever called me back. I wanted to get pictures of the finished work they did under my house and they said that was against company policy. There’s another problem I had with the installation but I don’t want to post it publicly. The work under the house was great but the customer service is awful. They really fooled me because I thought the customer service would be great for years to come but I don’t think it will if it’s a struggle to get help like it is now. The service in the beginning is nowhere near the service at the end. I hope the owner contacts me so I can fill him in on what’s happening to me. I don’t think it’s right at all.UPDATE:I am now in contact with Argie and she’s restored some of my confidence with this company. She’s attentive to my needs, concerned about what’s important to me, responds back to me in a TIMELY MANNER and treats me like she would want to be treated as a customer. If you need something done with this company contact ARGIE. THANK YOU ARGIE!!!I had my house repiped yesterday and while the guys were installing it they let me know what the installers did incorrectly while encapsulating my house. The front sump pump was full of water and not draining because it had no electrical connection. It had no electrical connection because the installers didn't even bother to plug it in. The sump pump wasn't put where it was supposed to be put according to the blueprints because the installers didn't want to dig far enough to place it in the correct spot. My front yard is full of water because the installers from Mount Valley didn't point the pipe down so it can drain properly and it's sitting vertically just filling my yard up with water. The installers left my backyard full of trash, rotted plywood, rock piles and tools when they left. They also busted my pipe in the front yard by hitting it with a shovel and left it for me to find. I appreciate you fixing it but wanted to let you know how mad I am with the installation mistakes I've found so far. I would like someone who had nothing to do with the installation come over and look at the work so I can make sure my house doesn't fall apart because things weren't done right. Please contact me when you can so I can get these things fixed.

We discovered a crack in the foundation that ran along the interior of the outer walls of the house. I called Mount Valley and Dustin came to inspect. One corner of the foundation had dropped half an inch. I decided to contract their services. Yiannis and Landon arrived a few days later. They walked me through the repair process before proceeding and did a fantastic job. Before they left we walked through the work area and presented the results. I am impressed with quality of the work done. I will be recommending Mount Valley to everyone I know.

Struggling with water seepage in the lower level of our house, I wanted to fix the problem once and for all and called Mount Valley. The inspector, Scott, did a detailed review, took the time to discuss everything, and made certain that my questions were answered. He also responded to follow-up questions that I had a few days later. Familiar with sump pump installations, having had one in a prior home, I became convinced that it would be the best way to ensure the problem would be solved. The initial installation schedule was farther out than I wanted, as we were trying to get ready for an influx of family, but MV was able to move us to an earlier date when they had a slot open up on their schedule. The installation foreman, Durand, worked with me to resolve site issues even though it meant another visit a few days later. The final installation was accomplished as Durand, Ron T, and Patrick worked past normal hours as the sun was going down to get the job done. In the end, I was grateful for a professional job by the MV team and the courtesy extended by everyone throughout. They are deserving of a fine review.

I recently had foundation work completed by Mount Valley Foundation at my property, and I could not be more impressed with the results. From start to finish, the team, Jarrod, Mason, and Kincade demonstrated exceptional professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail. We had a couple guys come out to quote foundation issues and encapsulation. Mount Valley was amazing from start to finish. They guys are extremely polite and professional. They went out of their way to complete the job on time even when a member got sick the guy, Justin and Messian came through to finish the job on schedule. These gentleman showed us a leak and looked throughout the home to check anywhere else. They buttoned up the crawlspace and gave us instructions for the dehumidifier. Also the project manager was on site and helped us get the dips out of the floor several times to satisfaction. Great group and people and would highly recommend.

Absolutely the best experience I've ever had with contractors, start to finish. Our basement was flooding during every heavy rain. We called a few companies and settled on Mount Valley for their reviews and response. They came out, quoted us a great price for a lot of work, and a few weeks later showed up to do it. Upon arrival, the site supervisor noticed that the layout we'd drawn up might not work with the water issues we were having. He made the change on site, got everything where it needed to be, and was out on time. The work ended up being less, and Mount Valley submitted a change order to actually give me my savings. John, Jeremy, Desmond, and Marty were all excellent communicators, diligent workers, and I couldn't be happier. Truly a pleasure of an experience. I wish Mount Valley could do my electrical and plumbing work next.

Called to have some cracks in my slab foundation looked at. Will Hedgecock came out and looked at it and explained that this is a common problem with the soils here. I had a lot of anxiety about doing significant work to the house as I have just retired in the last year and still have a lot of decisions to make regarding if I will keep a residence here. Will was very understanding about my anxiety and gave me all of the options so I can relax and take the time I need to think through my overall situation thoroughly and make the best decision going forward. Will is not only an expert in the technical aspects of foundation issues but is very understanding. Will has returned every call and answered every question promptly. He took the time and effort to to help me see all of the elements of the "big picture" giving me the information I need to make the best decision.

I am very pleased with the service of Mount Valley foundations. My service men who are: William Cheek, Rashad Hayward and Aveion Jacobs did an excellent job. When they arrived here exactly on the time that they said they were going to be here I felt confident this was going to be a good experience. Mr. Cheek communicated with me throughout the whole process. After about 4 hours they were completed. He came inside my house and made sure everything was level as well as cleaned up their mess outside. He was very courteous and answered any questions that I had. If I have any other problems again, I will call Mount valley foundations.

We had Mount Vally come out to fix some of our floor joists and subfloor under our master bedroom and bathroom after we had water damage from a broken water pipe. Everyone I spoke with was super helpful and friendly from John who came out for our quote to Chris who helped get us financed to pay for the project. I am kicking myself for not being able to remember the Forman and his crewmen’s names that came out to do the work because they were awesome! They worked efficiently and quickly to get the job done and when a problem came up, they let me know immediately and we got it worked out quickly to keep the project going. I thought there would be a ton of noise and in and out of the house but these guys were so quiet I had to check on them from time to time to see if they were still here only to be amazed at how much work they got done. They made sure everything was cleaned up when they were done and put back the way it was. Will definitely be referring people to Mount Vally and more than likely hiring them to come back out for more projects! Thanks guys! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

Before contacting Don, I had another company come out to give me a quote, but they spent very little time onsite and barely pointed out any issues. Don, on the other hand, was incredibly thorough. He took the time to walk through every detail, identifying potential issues and explaining all of the available options. His expertise and dedication to ensuring everything was covered gave me complete confidence in his recommendations. Absolutely love this company. From start to finish the sales rep and the people on the job were attentive to all of our needs. Originally we were meant to have our job done next week but they had an earlier slot and asked if we wanted it.We said yes and they sent two teams out to work on it. They were kind and efficient. Even after ripping up all the old plastic down there they cleaned every piece up and left no trace behind. We love our new crawl space door and the dehumidifier is quite.Within two day we could already see a difference in the humidity under the house.They let us know of a leak we had which i appreciate greatly.I recommend them to any and everyone. Best company we have found by far.

I discovered a crack in the front corner of my brick home. I had the pleasure of meeting Chris Geddie when Mount Valley corrected a sagging corner of my neighbors home, and asked Chris to look at my situation. He came with an entire set of state-of-the-art measuring tools, and recommended support of my foundation where the crack had occurred. The 3 man technical team the Service leader, Juan, dispatched, led by Foreman Oscar Mota, came and installed four piers supporting the foundation, which helped close the crack in the wall substantially. Mount Valley's warrantee has given me the piece of mind that I will not be bothered by foundation issues for life. Oscar and his team did a fantastic, quick, and very clean installation, and left my property in great shape. The team went the extra mile to clean up and restore the site to it's original appearance. If you need foundation help, you will not go wrong with Mount Valley Foundation Services!

From the very first phone call, Jon was professional, courteous, and attentive. When we scheduled the appointment, he showed up exactly when he said he would — which already speaks volumes about his character. But what really impressed us was what happened next. Jon didn’t just “look around” and throw together a quick estimate. He took his time — real time — to thoroughly inspect everything. He crawled underneath the crawlspace, carefully examined the foundation, inspected the cross members, and checked every area where there could potentially be an issue. He was methodical, detailed, and incredibly thorough. It was clear he genuinely cared about understanding the full scope of the situation rather than just selling a service. We originally reached out for an estimate on encapsulation, but Jon made sure no stone was left unturned. He explained what he was seeing in clear, understandable terms — not technical jargon that leaves you confused. He broke down the pricing step by step and walked us through financing options that are available. There was zero pressure. Just honesty and information. What really stood out to us was his integrity. Jon didn’t rush us. He didn’t push us. He didn’t make us feel like we were “just another job.” He gave us space to think, answered every question patiently, and made sure we were comfortable and confident in what was being discussed. He even pointed out additional services and features the company offers that could benefit us in the future — not in a sales-driven way, but in a helpful, informative way. Beyond his professionalism, Jon is simply a great human being. He is knowledgeable, respectful, well-mannered, and genuinely pleasant to be around. We actually sat down and enjoyed lunch together while he was here, and at no point did he seem rushed or distracted. That speaks volumes. In today’s world, it’s rare to meet someone who blends professionalism with such authenticity and kindness. Jon is reliable, trustworthy, and follows through on what he says he will do — and then goes above and beyond. You can tell he takes pride in his work and in representing Mountain Valley Foundations the right way. If you are considering any foundation work, encapsulation, or related services, I wholeheartedly recommend Jon Geddie. He did a complete and thorough inspection of our home 360 degree outside, a very detailed inspection of the problems we had inside and went under our house to look at the foundation. It was great talking with them while I looked over their work as they were finishing up, and even though it was late they made sure to expend the extra effort to thoroughly inspect the seals around the door and sump pump. All the while they had nothing but good things to say about Mount Valley. These guys have really given us peace of mind with their work.Lastly, John Penn did an excellent job coming out and explaining the conditions of our crawlspace and his recommendations. It has been an overall great experience working with this company.

Please see the earlier review (3/12) for context. I wanted to take a moment to share my experience with Mt. Valley Foundation Services regarding our sump pump installation. Overall, the team did an excellent job with both the initial installation and the subsequent repair of the discharge lines, which had come apart over time. They were professional, transparent, and truly seemed to care about the project. The only challenge I encountered was not with Mt. Valley Foundation Services itself, but rather with its parent company, Ground Works. From my experience, Ground Works has acquired many smaller foundation companies across the U.S., and it seems they may be struggling with logistical coordination. The call center they use is not very user-friendly, and I experienced multiple miscommunications and scheduling errors. Unfortunately, this puts Mt. Valley Foundation Services at the mercy of Ground Works' logistical issues. That said, I highly recommend working with Mt. Valley Foundation Services. My advice is to obtain the names and direct contact information of the service team when booking—this makes future communication significantly easier. Once I was able to reach the team directly, they went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Living in a flood-prone area, I feel confident that the sump pump project they completed will be a tremendous benefit to our home and property. A big thanks to Danny (the manager) and his team for their outstanding work!
